2002 Buick Invitational - Ticket Information and Schedule of Events

    This is the 11th year of the Buick Invitational. Buick assumed sponsorship in 1992. It's also the 50th year a PGA TOUR event has been held in San Diego. And the the 40th straight year the Century Club of San Diego has been the local non-profit organization organizing the tournament. Finally, 2002 marks the 35th anniversary of the event held at the Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course.

    This year will feature a record purse of $3.6 million, which is $100,000 more than in 2001. The winner will take home $648,000.

    ** TICKETS

    Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster at 619-220-TIXS. Advance prices (prior to February 4th) are: $12 (Tuesday), $15 (Wendesday through Friday), and $20 (Saturday and Sunday). After February 4th, prices will increase to $13 (Tuesday), $19 (Wednesday through Friday), and $25 (Saturday and Sunday). A season badge can also be purchased for $65 before to February 4th, or $75 at the gate. Senior citizens (60 and older) can buy tickets in advance at $12 (for a weekday), and $15 (for Saturday or Sunday). At the gate Senior prices are $14 and $18 respectively. All juniors (12 years old and younger) are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. A season parking pass is $15 and can be used throughout the week.

    • Opening round of the Buick Invitational on the North and South courses, starting at 8:30 AM on the 1st and 10th tee of both courses.

  • Friday, February 8
    • Second round of the Buick Invitational, North and South courses, at 8:30 AM on the 1st and 10th tee of both courses.

  • Saturday, February 9
