  • 12:30 PM - Coca-Cola Classic Golf Clinic.
  • 01:00 PM - Walk-of-Fame Induction Ceremony to honor Arnold Palmer(*) and Billy Casper.
  • 02:00 PM - Park Avenue Skills Challenge featuring: Billy Casper, Ben Crenshaw, Peter Jacobsen, Davis Love III, Phil Mickelson, Scott Simpson, and Craig Stadler. The skills will involve: long-iron shot, pitch over water, bunker shot, long putt, lefty-right shot (player has to play opposite handed). The event will be emceed by Gary McCord and will take place at the 18th green (South Course). The purse is $10,000.

• Wednesday, February 5
  • Buick Invitational Pro-Am (North and South course). The first tee time is at 06:42 AM on the 1st and 10th tees of both courses.
  • Celebrity Dinner Show featuring Louise Mandrell at the Hyatt Regency, downtown, starting at 06:00 PM.

• Thursday, February 6
  • Opening round of the 1997 Buick Invitational on the North and South courses, starting at 10:00 AM on the 1st and 10th tee of both courses.

• Friday, February 7
  • Second round of the Buick Invitational, North and South courses, starting at 10:00 AM on the 1st and 10th tee of both courses.
  • "The Golf Ball" party, beginning after play until 11:00 PM in the Golf Ball tent.

• Saturday, February 8
  • Third round of the Buick Invitational on the South Course. Top 70 players and ties who make the cut after the first two rounds of play. Play begins at 08:30 AM on the 1st and 10th tees.
  • "The Golf Ball" party, beginning after play until 11:00 PM in the Golf Ball tent.

• Sunday, February 9
  • Final round of the Buick Invitational on the South Course. Play begins at 07:30 AM on the 1st and 10th tees.

(*) Arnold Palmer will not be present due to his recovery from surgery. He will make a big-screen video appearance.
