It winds through the canyons to provide dramatic elevation changes, scenic views, a creek and undulating greens that require a thoughtful and precise tee shot.  Don't forget to take some ocean breezes and canyon  wind into consideration too on many holes as this course is just one miles from the coastline and Mission Bay just off of I-5 and Rt. 52.

 

Tecolote Canyon is really one of the best Executive golf courses in San Diego. It is an especially good choice for Corporate Tournament play when you just don't have the 7 hours necessary between the morning meetings and the nighttime activities to take a bus out to and back from most 18 Hole San Diego County golf courses.  Tecolote Canyon is conveniently located in the heart of San Diego and just 15 minutes north of downtown San Diego.   

 

Tecolote Canyon Golf Course is owned by the City of San Diego and professionally managed by American Golf Corp.  As a result, the Municipal golf course green fee are an absolute bargain for an Executive golf course of this caliber.  A driving range that features both mats and real grass tee stations, a very nice putting green and small chipping area round-out the amenities that will keep you coming back to Tecolote Canyon whenever you can sneak-away for two hours and 18 holes of some great golf.
