TOURNAMENT ISSUES - POLICY CHANGES AND CLARIFICATIONS ---
THE FOLLOWING CHANGES WERE APPROVED BY THE BOARD DURING THE MEETING OF MARCH 15, 2005

2. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE PLAYER TO CONTACT THE TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN IF HE HAS AN
EXCUSE FOR A CANCELLATION OR IF HE WANTS TO CONTEST A NO-SHOW DESIGNATION.
3.A NO-SHOW AUTOMATICALLY GOES ON THE PENALTY LIST UNLESS HE CONTACTS THE CHAIRMAN.
5,6 AND 7. THE TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN'S DECISION ON PENALTY IMPOSITION IS FINAL
9.2 PENALTIES -- THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MT THURSDAY EVENTS AND REGULAR SWEEPS
FOR PURPOSES OF PENALTY ASSESSMENT. PENALTIES SHALL BE ASSESSED FOR NO-SHOWS IN THE
FOLLOWING SEQUENCE:
- FIRST PENALTY ---- 5 (FIVE) THURSDAY EVENTS OR 2 (TWO) CONCURRENT SUNDAY EVENTS
- SECOND PENALTY ---- 10 (TEN) THURSDAY EVENTS OR 4 (FOUR) CONCURRENT SUNDAY EVENTS
- THIRD PENALTY --- SUSPENSION UNTIL RESOLUTION BY TOURNAMENT CHAIR
DOUBLE DIP RULE: A PLAYER WHO SIGNED FOR BOTH EVENTS HAS THE RESPONSIBILTY TO
CANCEL ONE BEFORE THE DESIGNATED CANCELLATION TIME IF HE IS SELECTED FOR BOTH TOURNAMENTS.
FAILURE TO DO SO WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE PENALTY SCHEDULE LISTED IN SECTION 9.2
